My mother is a militant man-hating feminist. Pretty much the second I hit puberty, it was endless mental needling and belittling. When I became an adult, she'd talk endlessly behind my back, mock me at any opportunity, and generally go out of her way to make me miserable. I finally stopped talking to her altogether. I don't regret it at all.
