Next up, we got Pedro Figueira on ESPRESSO’s RV search for other Earths. Pedro starts with a family portrait of 🇨🇭spectrographs from stars to earth-like planets.
Specifically, ESPRESSO was built to search for earth-analogues and went into operations in 2008. Insane amounts of time have gone into observing exoplanets with ESPRESSO in the past years (the consortium time is now over). So lots of data should be public by now 😂
