Asking for another creative weigh-in from the Nos community - the publisher for my next anthology project just sent me their drafts of what would be the book summary. I’m developing my own thoughts still, but welcome weigh-in as I am so close to the project. Do these descriptions make sense to you? Does it make you want to know more?

Book Blurb (~150 words)
Even before trans bathroom bans, queer book bans, healthcare bans forcing rainbow
families to cross state lines, many of us have been on the run…

These are the letters to the places we carry within us, places left behind – homes,
cities, states, and countries – even the people and bodies where we’ve found a place
to rest, or a place to flee.

Edited by Lamda Literary award finalist Lexie Bean, and replete with moments of
grief, longing, anger, and satisfaction, this urgent and raw collection is a testimony of
continued queer and and trans existence and a powerful imagined landscape of
rendezvous and reconciliation with places that have been lost.

Short Blurb (max 350 characters including .spaces)
Written with immense beauty and devastating power, this anthology brings together
the letters and poetry of queer and trans authors writing to places and things they’ve
had to leave behind. This collection includes the work of 70+ authors, and is edited
by Lamda Literary award finalist Lexie Bean.
