LOL that's honestly how it feels when it all enters my head too 😅 honestly spider-man in a lot of ways is in a horrible state right now. the head editor of the entire spider-man line is hellbent on some really ridiculous ideas on what spider-man should be. one me and a lot of other fans don't agree with. it'd take forever to explain the entire history on that but it's really rare there's a really great spider-man book nowadays. i think the main exception to that rule is miles morales books. he's been getting really solid stuff the last few years. miles morales: spider-man (2018) by saladin ahmed isn't perfect but it's really solid and then following that is miles morales: spider-man (2022) by cody ziglar is genuinely really great. if you really wanna read peter parker specifically i would say peter parker: the spectacular spider-man (2017) by chip zdarsky would be the one to check out and amazing spider-man (2018) by nick spencer starts off as one of my favorite runs on the character but runs out of steam towards the middle and end to me but when it's great, it's great.
