My first #ultramarathon DNF yesterday at Wendover Woods 50 (mile). I completed this race last November, but the move to July this year made it hot, up to 24-26C (high 70’s F) with some rain so it was humid as hell. After 34 miles of relentless hills I was totally cooked and definitely going to miss the final cutoff so I pulled the pin. Gave it everything. Some lessons to be learnt I think😕 Kudos to all who finished, and the folks who finished the 100 miler blow my mind🤯👏🏼
