This question has sparked something in my brain. I mean, I'm writing about a world pretty similar to ours, but it's one where shapeshifters exist, alongside humans. I've toyed with the idea of introducing other human-adjacent species, but haven't developed that into anything as yet. I'm still cogitating.
But unusual animals are not something I'd entertained before now. I really want that. Can I have that??
