Here's one for some fun community-building. Where do you fall in the experiment/model/observation space?
Myself? I'm mostly an observational scientist. I go out; I play with sensors, I collect samples, I make measurements. Sometimes, I do experiments (usually on natural materials), and sometimes, I do a bit of modeling to support my interpretation (rarely anything more complicated than 1D).
