When I'm recording music there's often this pursuit of perfection that creeps in, I'm sure other musicians recognise it.

Do another take, autotune the vocals, align the drums to the grid... a lot of those decisions are born out of anxiety or insecurity really.

So here's what I try to do instead: turn the goal of recording music into trying to perfectly capture the moment.
