The consumer politics of technology really is fucking things up here. It's easy to see why folks see the Web as the premier escape hatch (but then on iOS, you're severely limited by what Apple permits).
This isn't even to promote Android (or other options). But it's to have folks intentionally locked in the garden to question if they had a chance out, what would it look like?
