I'm still a Fedi (npub1uq7…u0c2) Fedimint noob, but something about it feels like early 90s of the web, when I was trying to figure out as a young teen how to build my very own homepage on Geocities.
It was such a foreign and different idea, but very intriguing and exciting. I still remember my Geocities address, and how you had to pick a house in a neighborhood, and you'd see the ones that were already occupied.
These were communities of early web pioneers, not much different than the early communities being formed as federations using Fedimint.
