the problem with algae eaters is it doesn't fix your nitrogen problem and eventually some algae will take hold that your algae eating team can't eat and you will be helpless against it.
This is why I like vegetable filtration so much. I really love apple snails but I think I prefer salt water. People think it's harder. It's more complicated, but it has more aggressive and hardy species that make making a healthy eco system easier.
