Probably not while landlording is leeching off the young people.
It's still too easy to buy up housing and rent it out, which is a different issue to scraping up enough to buy a home so your children have a failsafe parental home to go back too and don't start without that choice enablere - to bring landlording prices down.
Maybe it's just me, but I really think it's too easy to buy properties cheap to rent out commercially.
