When I moved my mom's OS from Windows to Linux, I used #LinuxMint for her, though at that time I was using #Ubuntu.
I've mostly had positive feedback from people who moved from Windows to #LinuxMint, and in my mom's case, what's funny was she always told me that her "new" Windows computer is more stable. 😅
