Spent a week in NYC, just the other day. The taps for the bathroom sink and shower in the hotel both were the kind that are just one knob. Turn to open, with cold water, and once the cold water is fully on, turning it further makes it warmer. An absolute waste if you ask me. I don't need nearly as much water especially for the shower, but I had no choice.
Are many taps in NY like that, or was this hotel an exception?
