Not naming any specific names, but there are many bitcoin twitter influencers who seem sidelined.
Imagine having 100k followers without having a meaningful bitcoin position.
This is the spot many find themselves in.
They chose clout over sats.
I get it, acquiring clout was easy and acquiring sats was hard.
So they took the easy route thinking they could turn their followers into sats at some point in the future.
Then the price ran away from them.
This has caused much cope/salt/derangement amongst the influencer class.
Which turns twitter into an even lower signal echo chamber than it used to be.
Meanwhile nostr remains high signal and most of the people here seem to have gotten the trade correct and chosen sats over clout (shitcoin).
Which leads to an environment where everyone really is ten toes down building the cypher punk future.
It’s a beautiful thing by comparison.
