I was going to go check out a sister facility to transfer too. A great friend and great nurse worked there and has been insisting I come there. I showed up yesterday and was informed she wasn't there. They seemed very subdued. Weird vibe and all.
Just got a call from my bestie that Barb passed away yesterday morning. The family is asking for privacy, so we don't know how. Whatever it was was sudden and unexpected.
