I am sitting next to a top scientist who is a professor at @UCSF. She is explaining how higher education is failing us. Among other things, she just told me that the words ‘excellence’ and ‘resilience’ are no longer permissible speech at UCSF because they are ableist and therefore discriminatory.
She says the institution is past the point of no return.
