It's all very well to say that you had to break off a knob to get at the powder or perfume. Or the oil in a fish. Whenever I see images of these kinds of ancient single use containers, I wonder how they filled and sealed them in the first place. Molten glass is notoriously hot...(which also suggests the contents of the unopened containers may have been in a partial vacuum, once any air in there cooled down.)
Has anyone reproduced filled ones?
