Nostr is already at a point to where it would be an absolute nightmare for them to try to crack down on. As more users join, more relays get set up, more clients get released, this gets tougher still. Nostr, Bitcoin, and other complementary technologies already promise to cut off their last vestiges of coercive power outside of literal use of force.
