This is how I practice law. I turn a ton of money away at the door because fights pay well. I try to solve people’s problems so they don’t have to fight. And i try to teach them fighting is destroying their health and their life. Most things people fight over aren’t worth fighting over. They just need someone who’s seen a lot of fights to tell them why they should stop fighting.
It’s the only way I can rationalize practicing law in a corrupt system. To, as goobie puts it, avoid moral injury.
