Checking in on the eruption in Iceland. It is still ongoing and lava is approaching the south coastal road, having already overflowed Grindavíkurvegur during the initial hours of the eruption. If the Suðurstrandarvegur (south coast road) is overflowed, then Grindavik may be cut off for a while, as the only other road, Nesvegur, suffered subsidence/quake related damage.
