Relays aren't the most query able databases, as in, its no SQL server lets be honest. But I think of a time where server processing and caching (like primal but better) becomes a staple for optimal user experience for the web. Device local apps will still beat them.
I understand other's arguments of primal become more centralized but as long as the event data is actually distributed across other relays, then it's not. Its a "cache" to improve UX which I think is generally a good design. Make all the arguments about it's implementation you want, but in terms of server computation to reduce client side suck, I'm happy for.
