Unfortunately that's just not how the world works. We're thousands of years into centrally governed/planned societies. There isn't a single timeline out there that I see that going away. With that, you're stuck playing that game so to speak.

IMO, the only hope is Bitcoin sinks its tentacles into everything it can and then its properties that we know so well show out so strong that these people are dying to adopt it any which way they can.

My biggest want right now is the US gets rid of taxable events entirely or at the very minimum a de minimis exemption so it can be used like an actual currency. Not holding my breath but at least this is now being mentioned in their circles and that is only occurring because it has made it to the gates.
