Increasing problems with the usage growth numbers will be about scalability. Lots of things will be solved, but it will require better server-side performance analytics to figure out the bottlenecks of Mastodon and ActivityPub integrations.

What will also increase is the amount of collaboration between service admins, as it will be in the common interest to scale up infrastructure together. Most admins have very limited resources, so it makes sense to improve tooling for that side.
