I predict that they will eventually settle on gold (being the boomers they are...).

However they might start experimenting with Bitcoin on a very small scale, pushed by younger advisers, tolerated by the current leadership.

That will grow over time... those younger advisors will be promoted for their usefulness and prescience. Eventually they will rise to the top and push Bitcoin even more as the obvious solution.
