I see the "force dudes to get vasectomies as that is reversible" post is going around again. Whilst I understand the spirit that this post is trying to get across, the idea that a vasectomy is a good method of birth control that puts the onus on the dude rather than the woman, is serious misinformation. There are some vasectomies that have been reversed, but the chances are pretty damn low and no practitioner would ever say to a patient that everything will be fine as they can just reverse it when they want.

Can we all just focus on educating boys and men on how not to be lazy, self-centred assholes, to take responsibility for themselves and not leave it to their partner? Or even how about we stop idolising those idiot alpha dudes or voting christian evangelists in to positions of power.
