I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that we’re living through an unprecedented experiment in mass exposure to a deadly virus with unknown long-term effects. Worth noting that “those at the weaker end of the immune response spectrum” includes hundreds of thousands of #LongCOVID sufferers, for whom 3 to 4 infections per year may prevent them from ever recovering. For everyone else it means recurrent illness and risk of long-term health problems. #COVIDisNotOver #SARS2
