I think a timeout on a 2FA code is good and all, but 10 minutes is clearly not taking into account the actual user experience of waiting for a text, picking up your phone, muscle memory clicking on Mastodon, getting lost in 1 or more rabbit holes, composing and re-composing zero or more posts [which may or may not contain humor], getting bored, and oh goddammit my code expired... :picardfacepalm:
