Fall peppers & eggplant š·
The long wait is nearly over!
For context, I live in a weirdo climate where growing peppers & eggplant is almost a year-long thing. They're started indoors late February, grow to normal size in the spring & then go dormant over the blazing summer.
(I typically get a few peppers in the spring, but mostly it's just about getting the plants established.)
When the weather gets a bit less hellish (usually September-ish) they come to life again, grow monster-sized & start cranking out produce.
(They're early this year, but I think that's bc we had slightly milder heat & far more rain than usual this summer.)
It's a long wait for peppers & eggplant, but the buckets of produce I get every Fall is worth it!
