Lawren Harris. Ice House, Coldwell, Lake Superior, 1923.
Much is made of his evident overlap with Georgia O'Keeffe, which some find imitative, but I tend to think of both of them simply in the same zeitgeist at the same time, in the same circles, but with different contexts. No art occurs in a vacuum. The important thing is to keep creating.
