I probably shouldn't swear so much. But watering it down - so 'care' rather than 'give a fuck' doesn't quite capture it. I do admire people who use refined language. I was listening to a podcast last night and thinking how well spoken one of the hosts was - and the implication of thoughtfulness, and even kindness (how is that?) implied by their gentle, measured speech.
