Being enraged at my shitty rolls in last night's #DnD session I finally went into Excel and charted out the percentages of success for skill proficiencies at various bonuses and levels.
Damn. I guess in 5e you just need to get used to failing most skill roles.
A 8th level Rogue with Expertise in a skill they have a maxed Ability score in will fail at a hard task 40% of the time.
That's seems crazy, and I think it's making me crazy in the game.
