Unlike human structures and institutions, Jesus' Ekklesia arises out of the intersection of individuals hearing Jesus' voice. It is not created by hierarchical systems of human authority but emerges organically out of the agreement of equal disciples of Jesus. Extending Ekklesia on earth is costly and requires sacrificing much time and energy to listening to Jesus, prayer, and building strong relationships. The fruit can be seen easily in the character of members - conviction and repentance of sin, wrong thinking, unforgiveness, idols, and addictions. It is the transformed life that brings about the motivation to share it with others.
Wherever 2 or 3 Jesus followers come together to listen to His voice, confess their sins, and pray for others to know Him, Jesus' Ekklesia will exist.
