It was early June when we went camping at the Grand Canyon, and the mornings were cool. The full heat of summer hadn't yet hit, and we enjoyed seeing the veriest wisps of mist dance over the tops of the cliffs.

I love mist: it has a sense of mystique and drama to it, obscuring the details of the landscape and altering it, temporarily, into something different, ethereal.
