Good Morning:
This is not something I would normally do. As a matter of fact I’ve never done this before.
My Brother-in-Law in the Philippines lost his house (due to a fire) a few days ago. He has a very supportive wife and 3 great kids. Two in college which my wife and me are paying for. The fire started from a neighbors house. Thank God, no-one was hurt. However, they lost everything except the clothes on their backs. Because they are heavily reliant on us for support there is only so much we can afford to do. They are hard working people who just happen to live in a country that’s hard to get ahead. Most of what they had - they worked very hard for.
My wife built this house back in the early 90’s for her Mom and Brother. So many memories in that house. I’ve stayed there myself a few years ago.
Anyways, my wife set up a GoFund me account and we are hoping to raise some extra funds to help them rebuild the house. I can assure you every bit will be put to good use.
We are also trying to figure out a way to get extra funds on our end to help out.
If anyone wants to help - We would be so very grateful.
Any amount - even a small donation will go a long way in the Philippine peso.
Also, if you can share this post to spread the word - that would be awesome.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this note.
