We've established our base camp here in SE Oklahoma for the Solar Eclipse. As refered to in True Grit, "The Nations" or "The Territories". Choctaw Tribe of Oklahoma. TBO, Texas scared us away with their early proclamation of "A State of Emergency". Traveled from CENLA on Saturday to miss the crowds. I was surprised that how little traffic there was around this area yesterday (Sunday).
7 Hrs. to go, and after many weeks of worry, the weather looks good from the NWS.
