It is done! After waffling for months and months we have just ordered ten juvenile Australian red claw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus). These are both a valuable livestock (they grow as large as lobsters and taste better) and a keystone species in waterwater treatment by means of managed wetlands (aquaculture that also cleans the water.)
