I like his forward lunge++, collapsing the front knee, thigh completely occluding calf, with back leg straight and knee almost on the ground.
Especially if you can't do a split, you feel a deep stretch in the groin. And by training the stretch under (body)weight, it doesn't tighten back up as quickly.
