Traditionally, wisdom was cultivated through religious frameworks, however, we have gradually destroyed religion in the West. People increasingly turn to social media to find meaning/wisdom which has been disastrous because it is designed to augment our cognitive biases and self-deceptions/self-destructive behaviours.
