This idea that came to mind recently, I work in the entertainment industry, specifically the video games industry, I've seen how the recent surge in AI image and video have affected fellow artists, many of them are primarily work in 2D, concept artists, matte painters, story board artists and more. All due to these companies stealing all of their work without permission nor compensation. I've always admired Nostr and the Idea of decentralized social media in general. They stand for freedom and human rights, giving users control over their content, identity, and communication. In a world where centralized platforms exploit data and limit free expression, decentralization offers a more open and fair internet.

The growing problem of AI companies exploiting Musicians, artists, painters -creatives across every field- by scraping their work without permission to train AI models isn’t just a copyright issue; it’s a massive violation of trust and a devaluation of human creativity.

I think platforms like Primal, Iris and YakiHonne have the chance to lead by example by integrating tools like Glaze

Glaze shields images from being used to train AI models without consent, they can protect creators who many of them rely on sharing their work to get exposure and find work opportunities. Glaze subtly alters images in ways humans can’t see but confuses AI, putting control back in the hands of artists who made the art in the first place.

I'm not sure how viable this is but I think adding tools like Glaze by default whenever users post any visual IP would be a huge step forward, setting a new standard for ethical, creator-friendly social media.
