Hashtags are your friend. Follow ones related to topics you are interested in and jump into the conversation. You can use that to also find folks you like to interact and follow. That will help you build your feed up. If you haven't yet do a post with the introduction hashtag telling a bit about yourself too. I'd suggest pinning it to your profile as that will help if people look you up from seeing conversations you are in.
