My favourite little Indiana Jones fact: In "Raiders of the Lost Ark" René Belloq (played by Paul Freeman, drinking with Marion in Egypt) says that he grew up with "Boukha Bokobsa" & calls it "his family label". Boukha is a traditional Jewish Tunisian fig-aniseed liquor. While today you can buy it easily online (https://boukhabokobsa.com), I've never found any proof of it being consumed outside of Tunisia (not even in the rest of North Africa or France!) during the colonial period. #DrinkingStudies
