I like microblogging platforms, because the written text is how I'm used to communicate since a very young age. This type of tool makes it okay to just type your thoughts without thinking much of it. The services that are based on image and video are not for me, because I'd rather not look to a mirror in the morning. Words are thoughts. Imperfection is allowed in them. Words can be ugly, unorganized, but people rarely want their photos to look bad.
