Abu Dhabi (the Union) concluded today's activities at 'Marari Active' island in the capital Abu Dhabi, as part of the 'Football for Adults' project, within the framework of the Community Partnership Agreement, which was launched in collaboration between the Professional League, Al Masdar Investment Company, the Community Investment Authority, and the Abu Dhabi Family Development Foundation. The winners of the three positions in the tournament were announced, including Abdullah Nasser Al-Jeneibi, President of the Professional League, Hamad Al-Shamri, Executive Vice President of the group, CEO of Corporate Affairs and Human Resources at Al Masdar, and Wafa Al Ali, Director of Family Development at the Abu Dhabi Family Development Foundation. The 'Football for Adults' project aims to be a starting point for improving the quality of life of community members and encouraging them to practice sports and health programs, reducing health problems and contributing to building a healthier community. The tournament saw active participation from adults, representing an important and vital segment of Emirati society, with 8 teams participating, each consisting of 10 players aged 60 and above. It is worth noting that the program is part of the agreement signed in October 2024, which made Al Masdar Investment Company a formal partner of the Professional League's 2024-2025 sports season, which includes various educational, sports, and entertainment projects for different segments of society.
