Some of them are purely motivated by money or by some other reasons in an attempt to gain notoriety, taking shortcuts to imitate the successes of their better counterparts. You can easily tell in some of them that they don't even bothered making edits or fixes.
& that was reflected in the floods of AI contents that showed up on pixiv last year.
