The second one that is coming very soon in this century has something that is far more powerful: the internet.
Ideas spread. They cannot be stopped. The more powerful it is, the harder it is to stop.
And no idea is more powerful than the idea of liberty, as it is born out of man's faculty of reason. One does not need to be literate or well-read to understand it.
And no medium is more viral than the internet.
Liberty is not a 'Western' or 'European' ideal.
It is universal.
And no army, government, political ideology or artificial intelligence can stop it.
