Many of us were raised to believe that defending our country is a noble and heroic thing. I think most people who joined the military did so with good intentions thinking they were being patriotic. Unfortunately, no one told them that they were just fighting to enrich bankers, politicians, and defense contractors who all considered the soldiers to be expendable pawns.
