"content": "My guess is just that infosec wasn't big then like it is now. I got my start in 2010(ish) and even then I don't think it had really ballooned into what modern-day infosec looks like today. 90's era infosec seems almost prehistoric. Hell, CVEs didn't even become a thing until 1999. \"Modern\" CVE naming came (back?) in force (imo) in 2014 with Heartbleed. And now after 10 years, the practice is anything but new in 2024 😅.\n\nI would have liked to be around back in the older days too.",
