I use KeepassDX and syncthing but it lacks lot of features Obsidian has.
But you can rely on:
- versioning (syncthing)
- collaboration (sharing master password with others)
- security
Just two days ago I asked myself what do you Gigi use to take notes privately.
paper is slower and not convenient in my opinion, I prefer write immediatly some thought and bring paper everywhere it's complicated.
i didn't find other solutions that are privacy oriented.
I think the most secure, privacy oriented and convenient way to take notes is an updated android (LOS or GrapheneOS) and KeePassDX. Optional Syncthing for versioning and not loosing things.
