Ok also other fellow humans, I saw a person walking and eating an apple today, and somewhat recently I realized that I never eat apples whole because I hate the sensory feeling of getting sticky.

How do people eat apples as a portable food, not near a sink?? Do they avoid the stickyness or do they just have sticky hands until they get to a bathroom???

Fruits are, on paper, perfect portable snacks, but the juice issue is a problem for me, unless I can immediately go wash my hands after.
